Ordinances

Girard Township has the following Ordinances:

Zoning Ordinance
Which requires a permit for any construction of any buildings such as storage sheds,
pole buildings, garages, homes, decks, porches, fences, and other such building or construction, and in some cases a Special Use Permit is required.

Junk Ordinance
This ordinance controls abandoned and unlicensed vehicles, trailers, household items, and various other junk or discarded items.

Cemetery Ordinance
This ordinance regulates the management of the Township Cemeteries and the placement of markers, flowers, item of decoration planting of trees or other vegetation.
